Usually Products Like apple tv and ipod nano come up with a very little in features but with a great bang with its design.
I guess apple has always come up with a product which is really great in design but literally stale at features.
Just as how this new apple TV is going to turn in soon this year is predicted/rumored to have iPhone OS instead of Mac OS X.
The main reason for this i think is that it would be possibly be able to run apps from the apps store on it.
Of course it would be highly unlikely to guess it won't, app store being a huge money making machine for apple, as the new apple TV users are the most potential customers to the apps store.
However what I find appealing about this new product is that the versitality of the product would increase to a much greater extent especially with apps from the apps store running on it and a lot new features even if the design is almost the same
I think if apple TV has apps store apps running on it what it would require is the controllers.
And this would yet again open a new era for controller market atleast for apple
Unfortunately apple's been neglecting this department way too long which is quite justifying because of a need to innovate it's products to keep them up in the markets, but i think now is the time for apple to focus on this apple TV technology as quick as possible with its rivalry against Google which is coming out with its new Google TV apple is right on ts brim
